The glamorous and witty comedy of situations is built virtuosically with a familiar dramaturgical device from Shakespeare's time - the comic travesty. Dressing up men in women's costumes playing women's roles turns difficult and convoluted situations into just a joke! With each change, the protagonist feels more and more deeply the feminine nature, he himself starts to flirt and behave like a woman, which further enhances the comedic effect.
Throughout the play, there is a happy sense of disorder and fun. The famous line "I'm Charlie's aunt. From Brazil, where there are lots of pineapples, bananas, lagoons and monkeys!" has long since become a colloquial phrase, in various variations. The show combines English humour, Russian music and, for spice, an aunt from Brazil. Jazz, Latin and classical music complement the plot and make the play even more entertaining and enjoyable to watch.
